Commercial moves across SydneyAn office move is a project, not a job you book by the hour. We run yours after hours and across the weekend so your team logs off at one address and logs on at the next. One capped price in writing your finance team can sign off, one project contact the whole way, fully insured.
Commercial moves are where the hourly rate quietly balloons: a slow lift, a late access permit, one more trip. Here is what sits inside the single capped number we hand your finance team.
One number in writing before we start, the kind finance can approve without a second signature. If the move runs long, the extra hours are on us, not on your invoice.
Monitors, docks, desktops and comms gear disconnected, wrapped and moved with care. We can work alongside your IT provider so nothing sits powered down longer than it must.
We move around your trading hours, not through them. Most jobs run Friday evening to Monday morning so the business barely notices it changed address.
Floor runners, corner guards, lift pads and door protection at both ends, worked to your building's move-in rules so your bond and your strata standing stay intact.
One person plans the move, runs the crew on the day and answers the phone. No call centre, no re-explaining your floor plan to a stranger at 8pm.
Fit-out not finished? We hold desks, chairs and archives in monitored Sydney storage and deliver the day your new floor is ready.
We visit both sites, count desks, check lift and dock access, then send one capped price in writing. Your finance team signs off a fixed number, not an estimate that drifts.
A labelled floor plan, colour-coded pods and a sequence for IT last out, first in. Everyone knows where their desk lands before a single box is packed.
We move after hours, reassemble workstations, and place every pod on the new floor plan. Your team walks in Monday, plugs in and works.
A two-person crew with a hire truck can shift a lounge room. An office move runs on a different clock. It has building access windows, loading dock bookings, a certificate of currency the landlord will ask for, and a floor of workstations that all need to be back online at once. Book a generalist by the hour and you inherit every one of those risks yourself, usually at the worst possible moment on a Sunday night.
The place it bites hardest is downtime. Every hour your people cannot sit down and work is an hour you are paying salaries for nothing. A crew that has moved offices before packs IT last and unpacks it first, labels to a floor plan, and reassembles desks so staff are productive on the first morning. A crew that has not will hand you a room of boxes and a phone that does not ring back. The saving on the quote disappears the instant the business stalls.
That is why our number is capped and in writing. You are not carrying the risk of a slow lift or a late permit; we are. If you are also crossing state lines with your fit-out, our interstate removalists apply the same capped-price approach to the long haul, and our Sydney storage covers the gap when the new floor is not quite ready. When you are set, get your capped office move quote and we will build the plan around your trading hours.
"We moved 40 desks from Surry Hills to North Sydney over one weekend. Staff logged off Friday, logged on Monday, and every monitor was already plugged in on the right desk. The invoice matched the cap to the dollar, which made my board very happy."
"Our IT lead was nervous about the server rack and comms gear. They coordinated the shutdown with him, wrapped everything, and had it back online before he expected. One contact the whole way, no chasing a call centre."
"Finance would only approve a fixed cost, not an hourly guess. These were the only movers who put a capped number in writing. Floors were protected, the building manager had zero complaints, and we kept our bond."
A good office move is measured by one thing: whether your team can sit down and work on Monday morning. Everything we do is sequenced backwards from that moment.
It starts with the floor plan. Before anything is packed, every desk, pod and meeting room at the new site gets a code, and every desk at the old site is mapped to one. Labels, crate tags and the plan on the wall all use the same codes, so nothing on the truck is ever a mystery box. Security crates arrive several days before the move, which means teams pack down their own drawers and personal kit at their own pace rather than in a Friday panic.
Friday evening is pack-down. Staff log off and IT decommissions in a set order: peripherals and monitors first, desktops and docks logged and crated by desk code, comms and network gear last so the office stays connected until the final hour. Workstations are dismantled, wrapped and loaded across the evening and Saturday. Sunday is the mirror image at the new site: furniture rebuilt to the plan, then IT recommissioned in reverse, network first and desks last, so every screen can be tested before anyone needs it. Monday morning becomes a walk-in, plug-in, work morning, with our crew on call for the small things that always surface.
The Monday-morning test is part of the job, not an optional extra. Before your staff arrive, the plan is walked one last time: every pod checked against its code, meeting rooms set, printers and shared equipment powered and placed. Anything that failed the check overnight is already on a list with a name against it.
Commercial buildings have rules, and missing one can stall a whole weekend. Loading docks usually need to be booked in advance, lifts must be padded and are often formally reserved for the move window, and most building managers will not let a crew on site without a certificate of currency proving the mover's insurance. We supply the certificates, lay the lift and floor protection, and chase the dock and lift bookings with the building managers at both ends so a missed form does not become a lost day.
If the move includes a lot of loose paperwork and small equipment, adding our packing service to the crates takes the pack-down off your staff entirely. For budgeting, our guide to removalist costs in Sydney covers what actually drives commercial pricing. When your dates firm up, request your capped quote and you will have a written number back within the hour, 7am to 7pm, ready for finance to sign off.
Yes. Most of our commercial moves run after 5pm or across a weekend so your team logs off Friday at one address and logs on Monday at the next. We book building access and loading docks around your downtime, not ours.
We plan the move as a project: a labelled floor plan, colour-coded workstations, and IT packed last and unpacked first. Desks and monitors land in the right pods so people sit down and start working, not hunting for their gear.
Yes. We disconnect, wrap and transport monitors, docks, desktops and comms gear, and can coordinate with your IT provider on shutdown and reconnection so nothing is powered down longer than it has to be.
It depends on desk count, access and floor levels, which is why we quote each move individually. A single capped price lands in writing before we start, so your finance team can sign off a fixed number. If the job runs long, the extra hours are on us.
Yes. We lay floor and corner protection, use lift and door pads, and work to your building's move-in rules and certificate of currency requirements at both ends so you keep your bond and your good standing with the strata or landlord.
Yes. One project contact plans the move, runs the crew on the day and answers the phone. You are not chasing a call centre or re-explaining your floor plan to a stranger halfway through the job.
More notice makes for a smoother plan, and a few weeks lets us book docks, lifts and crate delivery without rushing. That said, we have turned around office moves on much shorter timelines when a lease deadline demanded it. Call us with your dates and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.
Yes. Your furniture, equipment and IT are covered from pack-down at the old office to set-up at the new one, and we can provide the paperwork your landlord or insurer asks for. If something is damaged, we repair or replace it, and that remedy is in writing before the move starts.
Yes. We deliver security crates to your office a few days before the move so each team can pack down at their own pace. Crates stack, wheel and protect far better than cardboard, and we collect them once you are settled in, all inside the capped price.
Files travel in sealed, labelled crates that stay closed from your old office to the new one, and archive boxes are logged so nothing is misplaced. If some records do not need to make the trip yet, we can hold them in monitored storage. Tell us what is sensitive and we will plan the handling with you.
Tell us your two sites and your preferred weekend. You'll have a written, fully insured price back within the hour, 7am to 7pm, and no obligation to book.
