The biggest lever by far. More rooms means more boxes, more furniture, more truck space and more crew time. An honest inventory up front is what keeps the estimate accurate.
A move two streets over and a move to the other side of Sydney are not the same trip. Longer distances add drive time, fuel and sometimes tolls to the job.
Stairs, no lift, a booked lift with a short window, tight parking, a long carry from the truck to the door. Difficult access is slower and slower costs more.
Weekends and the end of the month are peak, because leases turn over and everyone wants the same slots. Mid-week and mid-month are quieter and cheaper.
Full or partial packing, boxes and materials, disassembly of beds and wardrobes, and heavy or awkward items like pianos each add to the job if you want them.
When settlement dates do not line up, goods need to be held between homes. Time in storage and the double handling that comes with it both add to the price.

We confirm your booking with a small deposit, and the balance is due on completion. We accept card and bank transfer, and your capped price is agreed in writing before any of that.
