Home / Single item removalists Sydney
One item, moved fastSometimes it is just the one thing: a fridge, a couch, a bed, a washing machine, or that marketplace bargain you cannot fit in the car. This is a proper two-person move for a single piece, fast, insured, and capped in price, without paying for a whole truck you do not need.
If it is heavy, awkward or will not fit in your car, we will move it. Here are the jobs we get asked for most.
Fridges, washing machines, dryers and dishwashers moved upright, strapped and handled with care from old kitchen to new.
Lounges, sofa beds, mattresses and bed frames wrapped and carried by two movers, including the tight-corner and staircase jobs.
Bought something online or in-store and cannot get it home? We collect from the seller or the warehouse and deliver to your door.
A safe, a treadmill, a stone benchtop, a wardrobe. If it is one heavy thing and a flight of stairs, that is a normal day for us.
Send the pickup and drop-off, roughly what the item is, and whether there are stairs. That is all we need to quote it.
You get one capped price back within the hour, 7am to 7pm, plus the soonest slot we have, often the same day.
Two movers arrive with trolleys and straps, wrap the item, carry it, and set it down exactly where you want it.
It is tempting to talk a mate with a ute into shifting your new fridge. Then it slips on the tailgate, dents the door, scrapes the hallway wall, and the favour costs everyone more than a proper job would have. A single heavy item is exactly where things go wrong: no straps, no trolley, no second set of trained hands, and no insurance if it lands badly. We bring all four as standard, so the couch arrives as clean as it left.
This is a focused service, not a whole-home move squeezed small. If you have several rooms of furniture, our furniture removalists page is the better fit and works out better value for multiple pieces. But when it truly is one item, you should not be paying whole-truck money for it, and you should not be told there is a minimum that only a full move can meet. Here there is no full-house minimum. You pay a capped price for the job in front of us, nothing more.
Speed is usually the point with a single item. You have sold the old couch, the buyer wants it gone, or the marketplace seller can only do today. We run seven days and can often come out the same day, and you will have a capped quote back within the hour, 7am to 7pm, so you can lock it in fast. Every item is wrapped and insured from pickup to drop-off, and if we damage it, we repair or replace it. That remedy is in writing, the same as it would be for a full house.
Marketplace, Gumtree, auction house or IKEA warehouse: give us the two addresses and a rough size and we will handle the rest. Get your capped quote now and tell us how soon you need it moved.
"Bought a fridge on Marketplace and had no way to get it home. Quoted capped within about twenty minutes, picked up that afternoon, and carried it up two flights without a scratch. Exactly the price they said."
"Just needed one sofa bed moved to my daughter's unit. Other places wanted a two-hour minimum for a whole crew. These guys had no minimum, capped the single item, and did it the same day. So easy."
"Massive IKEA wardrobe I could not fit in the car, flat-packed but heavy as anything. They collected it from the warehouse and carried it up to the bedroom. Wrapped, insured, capped price. Would not attempt that solo again."
Half the single-item jobs we run start the same way: you won the listing, the seller wants it gone by the weekend, and the couch is somehow both bigger and heavier than the photos suggested. Here is how the job works when it is done properly, end to end.
It starts with the seller. You do not have to be at the pickup at all. Send us the seller's address and phone number and we will coordinate the collection directly, confirm a time with them, and call you when the item is on the truck. That matters when the seller is across the city, only free during your work hours, or when you would simply rather not spend a Saturday driving across Sydney and back for a sideboard.
Then the lift itself. Two movers come as standard on every single-item job, with trolleys and straps, because most Marketplace pieces are exactly the items that should never be lifted alone: fridges, couches, wardrobes, treadmills, washing machines. Stairs at either end are normal work for us, told in advance so we bring the right gear. And even for one piece, the item is wrapped for transit before it moves. A blanket and film around a couch costs minutes. A scraped doorway and a torn arm cost a lot more.
Some items deserve a special mention. Treadmills and gym gear are deceptively heavy and awkward through doorways. Wardrobes often travel better partly disassembled, which we can do at both ends. And pianos are their own trade entirely, with their own equipment and technique, which is why they get their own piano removals service rather than a spot on this page.
The honest comparison is with the ute-and-mate option, because that is the real alternative. It looks free until it is not: no straps, no trolley, no insurance, one slip on a tailgate, and the bargain fridge now has a dented door and the hallway has a gouge. A proper two-person move with insurance behind it routinely costs less than what one bad lift does to the item, the house, or somebody's back. Our removalist costs guide shows what actually drives the price of a small job, and it is less than most people expect.
So before you confirm with the seller, lock in the move. Get your capped quote with the two addresses and a photo of the listing, and we will come back within the hour, 7am to 7pm, often with a slot the same day.
Yes. A single fridge, a couch, a bed, a washing machine or one heavy piece is exactly what this service is for. There is no full-house minimum, so you are not paying for a truck of space you do not need.
Yes. We collect Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, auction and IKEA buys and deliver them to your door. Give us the pickup address, the drop-off and a rough idea of the size, and we will quote it capped.
It depends on the size of the item, the distance and whether there are stairs or tricky access. We quote each job individually, and the capped price you get in writing before we start means a single item never turns into a surprise bill.
Yes. Two movers, trolleys and straps come as standard, so a fridge or a sofa bed up a flight of stairs is a normal day for us. Tell us about the stairs when you book so we bring the right gear.

Yes. Give us the seller's address and contact number and we will coordinate the pickup with them directly, then deliver to your door. You do not need to attend either end if it is easier not to, and we will call you once the item is safely on the truck.
Yes. IKEA, auction houses, clearance outlets and regular furniture stores are all normal pickups for us. Forward us the order or docket details and the collection address, and we will handle the rest, including the trolley work at the loading dock.
Yes, and if your dates are flexible it can be surprisingly affordable, because one item can travel as a backload on a truck already running the route. You pay for the space the item uses, not the whole vehicle, with the same capped price in writing.
Yes. Bed frames, wardrobes and larger pieces that will not make the stairs or the doorway in one piece can be partly disassembled, moved, and reassembled at the other end. Tell us about tight access when you book so we allow the time and bring the tools.
